Energy Services:
TES Bretby has a long established reputation
for providing coal quality assessment services
to the UK coal mining industry.
We operate the largest and most comprehensive
dedicated coal testing laboratory in the country,
providing all the necessary UKAS Accredited coal
tests required for coal quality assessment
As market leader in the UK, TES is now responsible
for the commercial evaluation of over 80 million
tonnes per annum of internationally traded coal
and our fully integrated services cover the compete
supply chain.
In addition to its long term contracts with major
UK coal producers, TES has also secured contracts
with the major power generators by establishing
TES credentials in providing TOTALLY INDEPENDENT
AND CONFIDENTIAL services to both supplier and
consumer.
More than 60 site-based technicians are involved
in the inspection and sampling at locations throughout
the UK and samples are transported by TES' dedicated
vehicles to the central laboratory from the regional
field laboratories and offices. This guarantees
the chain of custody essential to many clients.
Renewable Fuels
In response to many company initiatives in reducing costs by diversifying their fuel policies TES has extended its capabilities to include quality testing of many renewable fuels including refuse derived fuels, bio-fuels, wood waste, animal wastes and waste rubber products. TES are now UKAS accredited for testing the mechanical properties of wood fuel pellets essential to ensure that quality standards are achieved for these fuel products. |
