Job Description

A technically capable and commercially competent Senior Engineer is required to manage projects throughout Scotland. Based in Armadale, West Lothian, you will be responsible for independently managing a portfolio of site investigation projects, supervising and monitoring the technical aspects of all the office's fieldwork operations, scheduling laboratory testing and the timely preparation and submission of interpretative reports for clients.

Reporting to the Area Manager the successful candidate will also provide on-going technical support and training to a team of staff and will have overall responsibility for the technical output of the office.

Qualifications

Degree and ideally a Post-Graduate Degree in a relevant discipline with at least five years post graduate experience including preparing desk studies, managing small to large ground investigations and preparing factual and interpretative reports for a wide range of projects within the building, water, transport and energy sectors. Membership of an appropriate professional body. Chartered status would be an advantage.
