An influential addition to Soil Mechanics' expertise.
Michael Davies has joined Soil Mechanics as a retained consultant bringing with him credentials that speak for themselves. Not only is he Dean of the Engineering Faculty at Dundee University with a track record in geotechnical research but is also the present Chairman of the British Geotechnical Association (BGA). He is a research innovator and in his own words is keen to see research evolve into practical solutions that can benefit the industry. Mike's joining makes up a trio of pro-active influencers in our industry who are working with Soil Mechanics to raise the profile of ground investigation and further develop and support its progress. The other two are Professor Barry Clarke and Dr David Norbury.
