Soil Mechanics strengthens national projects team with new appointment
Geotechnical and over water specialist Andy Fielding has been appointed by Soil Mechanics to lead the project management of large investigative projects in the UK, working as part of the company's service delivery across each of its 13 regional UK offices.
In his new role, Andy will be working to provide structural and civil engineering consultants and contractors with a wide range of services suited to large ground investigations, on-land and over water, as well as supporting them with his wealth of practical project experience.
Andy's work at Soil Mechanics will add value by ensuring that both technically and commercially, projects are managed efficiently and effectively, from pricing tenders to project delivery.
Andy joins Soil Mechanics from Seacore where he was responsible for the implementation and ongoing development of near shore projects throughout the UK and internationally.
Andy, who has worked as a project manager for twelve years, also has over 21 years in the oil and geotechnical industries.
Soil Mechanics managing director, John Grainger, says of Andy's appointment:
"Recruiting Andy strengthens Soil Mechanics relationships in this market and we hope that his project management experience, coupled with what is already one of the largest pools of geotechnical skills in the UK will help to further reinforce the quality of our service delivery" |
