BES – Highlands award
Built Environment Services (BES) have secured a significant contract for its Water Hygiene and Legionella team. BES have been appointed to carry out risk assessments of water systems in all of the properties owned by the Highland and Islands Council.
Technical engineers from BES will have to visit council offices, schools and fire stations north from Inverness to John O’Groats and a large number of the Islands.
‘This provides us with a significant logistics problem’ says Geoff Mann. Operations Director at BES ‘having to visit over xx islands in the Inner and Outer Hebredies, the Orkneys and the Shetlands and our solution to this was a key element in the success of our tender’. The risk assessments will be commenced early next month.
