International Fuel Stock Survey at TES
The Energy Services division of TES Bretby is just about to complete a fuel stock survey on behalf of ÉLECTRICITÉ DE FRANCE (EDF). A team of four coal specialists from TES have visited 11 sites throughout France, Holland, Belgium and Germany spread from Rotterdam in the north to Marseilles in the south, Metz in the east and St Nazaire in the West.
The four week survey involves measuring coal stockpiles for volume calculations, taking samples to determine the coal quality and the presentation of written reports to enable EDF to have a clear understanding of the value of the coal it holds throughout Northern Europe. This contract is typical of many undertaken by TES throughout the UK and various overseas locations.
