Conference in Wales
Soil Mechanics were the only Ground Investigation specialist featuring at a one day conference " Tackling Contaminated Land in Wales " which was held on 3rd November 2005 in Cardiff . The conference was organised by a number of nationally recognised organisations including CL: AIRE UK, DEFRA, the Environment Agency, Welsh Development Agency and others. As a sponsor Soil Mechanics were allocated space to demonstrate their own capability and that of other MESG companies.
The main aim of the conference were to examine Welsh Policy on Contaminated Land, demonstrate current best practice/research and produce recommendations with an action plan to present to the Welsh Assembly.
