ECS Capabilities
Office Network
ECS provides a 24 hour a day/7 days a week service operating from its network of four strategically located offices and UKAS-accredited laboratories throughout the United Kingdom. In addition to these core service offices, ECS has the ability to develop and operate site and project-specific offices within the scope of our UKAS accreditation, as well as being able to draw on the extensive network of 14 offices within ESGL.

ECS Resources
All senior technical personnel hold the minimum qualifications BIOH S301 and oral and/or Certified Competent Person. All building surveyors hold a minimum of a P402 qualification for asbestos surveying and bulk sampling in accordance with the requirements of HSG 248 and our UKAS inspection accreditation.
ECS offers cost-effective, practical and commercially viable solutions to clients' asbestos management problems, employing extensive field capabilities, which include a fleet of custom-equipped mobile laboratories and sampling equipment. These are supported by extensive in-house technical resources, incorporating comprehensively equipped and UKAS accredited laboratories, with fully documented QA and Health & Safety systems.
Project Management
ECS provide a full-service professional and independent asbestos removal project management package designed to assist clients fulfill all of their statutory obligations from project inception through to completion.
ECS are licensed by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE license number 4050505028) for the design, supervision and management of asbestos removal projects, as required by Regulation 4 of Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 and have to date completed many projects to the satisfaction of our clients. As a testament to our capabilities and expertise, we have undertaken project management work on behalf of the Health & Safety Executive itself.
ECS staff have a wealth of practical experience in managing complex, multi-site asbestos removal projects in a variety of situations, from vacant or derelict industrial sites to occupied and sensitive commercial premises. We are able to undertake asbestos removal projects ourselves, using specialist sub-contractors, are able to advise clients on the best direct procurement route.
